Gel- our news in the SF area is just FULL of the warnings about the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. They have Natl Guard humvees parked at each end of the bridges, other unspecified stuff. As if that's going to do any good - all a terrorist would have to do is drive an anonymous looking truck onto the bridge and blow it up. Unless they stop and search every one of the 260,000 daily vehicles, all the gendarmes can go is watch whatever might happen from a front-row seat.
I'm glad that I have a short commute from one suburb to another.
