Ah. You are really missing something. I'd recommend Guards Guards as a
place to start. Or maybe Hogfather in honor of the season.There are
several story lines set in the same world. The one about Lancre is
somewhat sequential, so I would stay away from that until you have a
better idea what's going on. The rest of them can be read in any
order, really.
