Two of my Xbox controllers are giving problems. One of them the left analog stick reads UP when the stick is centered, requiring a bit of pressure all the time whilst playing. The other there's issues with going left and right. A Saitek controller totally died with the same controller disconnected errors.
I'd say you need to get a new one. Twisted wires, or a few falls may have done it. -Gel -----Original Message----- From: Raymond Camden My xbox controller seems to be screwing up. While playing a game, it keeps saying that it is disconnected. As far as I know, it is connected well. My son can play for a minute or so before the warning comes back. The controller is maybe 14 months old, but I haven't had a controller die on me.... ever. (Not counting the old Atari 2600 joysticks.) Anyone have this happen before? The wires _are_ pretty crinkly from being wrapped up all the time. Luckily I have a spare. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:140557 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
