I agree with you that he came off as a spoiled brat but I also want to add that most athletes are like that. Doesn't make it right but if you dislike Manning for that reason, then it would only be fair to dislike all athletes. This happens in sports all the time. Look at MLB. Why do you think the best prospects are rarely drafted number 1. It's because the teams with high draft picks are the teams with no bankroll. They can't meet the demands. And I know this sounds un-sportsmen like. But I agree with the athletes. This is a job for them. And I don't begrudge them from making a lot of money. Just because you make a lot of money, doesn't mean you should forfeit your right to negotiate. Plus, the real rat in this was the Chargers GM. He leaked the info to try to strengthen his bargaining position. All in all, I would have liked to see the Giants draft Gallery.
