Nothing official. It's a good bet it will have support for the standards released and/or finalized since IE 6's release (CSS 1,2,3, xHTML, etc). I also assume (I think safely) that it will also contain the Service Pack 2 upgrades perhaps in more advanced states (pop-up blocker, active content warnings, etc). I think MS will also beef up it's support for client-side processing capabilities not covered by the standards (for example accessing XML data islands and such) but it's unlikely they'll follow the Mozilla implementations for things like that (then again, they just might). It's likely, but not certain, that it will include at least an optional capability for tabbed browsing. I also expect some native support for MS's XML-based application development stuff (it's "Flash Killer" - I think it's code named "Sparkle"). I would also expect to see more integration with Media Player and more extensibility support (although IE 6 already has massive extensibility support as it is). All of this is just a guess. They might just come out with "IE 6.2" as well. ;^) Jim Davis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Silver Sponsor - CFDynamics http://www.cfdynamics.com Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:140868 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
