I use SQL7 full text for searches at SMARTERyellowpages.com I noticed the following strange behavior today.
1. If I use the search term "Mail Boxes etc" I find 195 Listings titled "The UPS Store (formerly Mail Boxes Etc)" This is the full title of the Listing. 2. If I use the search term "UPS Store" I find only 1 Listing titled "The UPS Store (formerly Mail Boxes Etc)" not 195. I assume this might be due to "store" being a reserved word. 3. However, the search term " UPS 'St*' " finds only 25 Listings titled "The UPS Store (formerly Mail Boxes Etc)" not 195 4. If I use the search term "UPS" I find only 174 Listings titled "The UPS Store (formerly Mail Boxes Etc)" not 195. Since ALL of the above search terms are included in the firm name, they ALL should return a search result of all 195 Listings - with the possible exception of (2).
