With the exception of the Mac Virtual PC or VMWare is the absolute best way
to do browser testing that I've found. I can run all versions of Windows,
Linux, Solaris and BeOS (and a few others) in a window under a Virtual PC
under Windows XP.

Unfortunately I've not seen a decent emulator for the Mac - however if you
DO have a Mac you can get Virtual PC for the Mac and run all of the above at
the same time (but still not previous version of Mac OS).
