I didn't!!!!!! In fact I only know two people that voted for Howard.. I'm amazed that he was reelected.
Picture this.... I run a small business, but have had to bring in an accountant once a month to do our new mountain of paperwork. I was a first home owner, but I wasn't allowed to claim the grant, because my new partner of just a few months was previously married, and was on her ex-husbands mortgage... and the government considered us a de-facto couple... and because she had a child from her previous marriage, we won't even get the first baby grant!! Don't even get me started on the state of education and health!!!!! Put all the money into private schools and hospitals... way to go you smug little prick!! And the thing that really pisses me off.... he lives in Sydney!!! Using our money to continually travel to Canberra. Yet the elected prime minister is supposed to live down there. Bloody politicians!!! Anyone else wondering why petrol dropped just before the election? And are you all just waiting to receive the letters the ATO are about to send out to about 185,000 people about taxes that are owed?? Oh, and what about GST on food that Costello is talking of. I wonder how many of them voted for Howard... thing is if anything goes wrong, the hypocrites will be whinging about him and his party... guess what... too EFFING late!!! grrrrrrrrr... sorry. very disappointed today. why do we all live in the past?? You know, so many australians simply didn't vote labour because of the high interest rates we had many years ago? When are we going to get past it and work for our future??
