How about a company that doesn't require you do $1000 a month? We use one with a minimum $100 (if I remember correctly) and when we don't hit the min, then our fee from them is $15 ... Otherwise we get charged a $10 gateway fee plus the usual transaction fees. I think there is one more charge in there, but I'd have to go look up my account.
To me, to have the options are worth the price. Now I get paid right away from customers with Debit cards and Business credit cards instead of waiting weeks for checks to come, get deposited and clear. If you make that much money in a month, a good reliable CC Processor that is flexible, should be part of the cost of doing business. Perhaps you might even sell more items because now you have 2 ways to pay. :) Of course YMMV :) Email me off-list if you want to speak to the company we use.
