ROFL.

We have the same problem with crickets. Right now many are getting into our
basement - to escape the cold weather. Two of the ferrets love the things.
You see the largest one (Ryoga) or the smallest (Osmar) gallumphing along
chasing a cricket. Then a sudden pounce. Ryoga will look up and all you will
see of the cricket is a couple of twitching legs in his mouth, which he
spits out a moment later. Osmar just pounces on the thing, holds it down and
eviscerates it. Afterwards they (the ferrets that is) will trot up to you
and will want to lick your hand, feet, face etc. While that part is
endearing, as Wendy (my wife) notes, she doesn't want to be touched by
cricketlips.
