I'm working on my first site which is failing under load. I feel helpless.
Interesting (at least to me) is that the problem appears to be w/ the database server, not the ColdFusion servers. However, once the DB Server ramps up to 100% utilization, CF starts spouting out timeout errors very fiercely. In the error template, we had rigged up something to cfmail the error. I got around 1600 email messages in the past 15 hours (before we commented out that code). I know there was something documented w/ CFMX and old database drivers, but I have been assured that our versions are up to date.
