My parents voted for Bush. Their reason? Abortion. I can argue all day with them about what he's done wrong, the war, the budget, on and on. I may even disagree with them about abortion rights and so on......but they've decided for themselves what the most important issue is. To them, the right to life of the unborn trumps all, and they'll continue to express their support for candidates who feel as they do.
Am I to call them "idiots", or "morons" for voting for Bush for this reason?
