True but it all depends on your stance - I don't think it is wrong (my
opinion), I don't regard it as illegal or wrong if it's for the greater
good...what I certainly don't see it is as is a 'religious' choice or
stance.

I also think that the whole fringe political positioning was a coup to stay
in power rather then a genuine stance - he isn't as bright as that.

Why is abortion not a good reason to vote someone in? It's important
enough for the Supreme Court to hear a case about abortion but it's not
important enough to vote on a candidate because of his position on
Abortion? Especially this year. It was widely known that the incoming
President would have the power to appoint at least 1 Supreme Court
Judge. Historically, the Supreme Court will not overturn itself. But
what if they made is constitutional for the Federal government to
heavily regulate the clinics. If one is anti-choice, feels an over
whelming desire to meddle in the affairs of strangers, and feels
abortion will lead to the decay of American power - one is obligated to
vote for the candidate who has a position against abortion.

Quite frankly, I don't think the federal government should even be
involved in this debate. At best this should be a state government
issue and only because of health issues. But if it's important enough
for someone, they should be able to vote on the basis of it.
