I don't think he's an idiot, but certainly misguided and probably suffering from an inflated ego; the translation being that he and his staff believe their own bullsh1t. You'll often see this in corporate management: a line manager, through a series of crises, is promoted to, say, Senior Vice President within just a few years. The new SVP takes these promotions as divine notice that he's brillant so he starts huge initiatives that are misguided. Case in point: Volkwagen makes an $80,000 luxury car and tries to sell them next to Jettas. In addition, the car competes with their own Audi A8 and requires VW dealers to stock a minimum of 2 for maintenance loaners. Who didn't think this was going to fail? Answer: the exec and his inner team. They believed their own BS. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:143355 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
