An interesting point that someone in my office (a muso) came up with
is that this software could be the reason why there are so many
re-makes of classic songs. Beatles covers etc.

The old songs scored well, then someone puts a cover of an old song
with a modern beat and it scores highly.

Just the other day I heard a cover of "If I was a rich man" from
"Fiddler on the roof". Except it was changed to "If I was a rich girl"
and was sung in a poppette alto voice. Yuck. Made me want to smash the
radio. (I worked on several different productions of Gilbert &
Sullivan).
