All cultural discussions aside, I don't see why certain members of a suit 
should be awarded higher damages for the same offense....unless such 
discrepencies are readily apparent.

For instance, if I got scammed out of $5, and you got scammed by the same 
company out of $10, we filed a joint suit and won, it would seem fair that I 
would receive $5, while you'd get $10.

In this case, I don't see where there is a clear discrepency between the 
negative affects of the offense on different members of the 
suit...especially in reference to their sex.
