The first two, Gondolin and Nargothrond were two great elvish cities of Tolkien's Simarillion, the third, Moria was a ruined Dwarvish city from LOTR.
Some fundies actually do think that LOTR is on par with Harry Potter - it has wizards and magic in it, THEREFORE IT IS EVIL.
