I just leave all messages I get from HoF in my gmail and use its
search feature when I am looking for something.  Works out pretty good
so far.  Gmail is the sole reason I started to get back on the HoF
mailing lists, its ability to thread the discussions and archive them
out of sight/mind helps me out a ton in following the discussions I
care about reading and ignoring others.
