That's one of the most positive outlooks on the settlement that I've heard in a long time. A friend of mine went through a similar nasty separation and divorce 3 years ago. When it was finalized she spent several days crying about it. Something I didn't understand, my own reaction in a similar circumstance would have been to celebrate.
