I think it's time for an economist joke.

A mathematician, a statistician, and an economist are all interviewing for
the same job. The interviewer brings in the mathematician and asks "what is
two plus two?"

The mathematician is insulted and huffs "everyone knows two plus two is
four. Why on earth would you ask such a silly question?"

The interviewer brings in the statistician and asks the same question. The
statistician replies "Taking into acount normal variance and the standard
deviation of the population set, minus the inaccuracies inherent in an
abstract set, two plus two should be four plus or minus ten percent."

The interviewer finally brings in the economist and asks the same question
again. The economist looks around, closes the door, draws the blinds, and
asks the interviewer "what do you want it to be?"
