I understand the shared concerns. We're running dedicated machines now, and loving the secure cozy feeling of knowing who is on our boxes, and of course the ability to access and do whatever we need when we need to.
My question was more of why run it out of the house - co-lo or get a dedicated box. Of course budget is a concern - so it depends on the money. BUT with a dedicated or co-lo you could offer hosting to other CF developers in the know and share the cost of the box.
