For another list: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Those of you who have older children might want to take a few minutes today to study and commemorate what would have been the 100th birthday someone who would have certainly applauded our work home schooling our kids: Ayn Rand. An author whose book Atlas Shrugged was voted "the second most influential book in history after the Bible" 10 years ago, Rand was born in Russia and was a teenager during the Revolution. Her first major novel, The Fountainhead, was published in the 1940s, and Atlas Shrugged was published in 1957.
