I tried that Kevin, but unfortunately the properties background-position and background-repeat are apparently mutually exclusive. If you have background-repeat defined, then background-position is ignored. That is what I gleamed from the documentation I read last night, and seems to be supported by behaviors in the browsers I observed. Since, of course, I tried it before I broke down and read the documentation.
From: http://www.blooberry.com/indexdot/css/properties/colorbg/bgposit.htm Background-position: If a 'background-image' is specified, this complex parameter details the initial position of the background image specified in the browser window if it is ***NOT*** continuously tiled in the display area. [Emphasis added] I am thinking I may just have to add a separate layer for the background so that it can be placed to the right of the logo layer. Just trying to be as miminlist as possible as an excersize on this redesign. -------------- Ian Skinner Web Programmer BloodSource www.BloodSource.org Sacramento, CA "C code. C code run.
