The name is Tahoma. It is designed to cram as much information as possible in an alert (for errors etc.). Don't use it, it is a Microsoft font and Microsoft has coupled distribution with the installation of MS Office. About 2 years ago, some amateurs in some committee had to design a new corporate look & feel for a certain university. They had such a lack of understanding of copyright that they decided to go with Tahoma anyway. When Linux and Mac users complained they rcommended to 'download it somewhere'. Obviously when the question reached the legal experts it became clear that could never become an official policy. This particular university had an ergonomy group that has won prices for stuff like airport and railway station signs, so in the end they asked an expert to redo everything. Tahoma didn't return :-) > Verdana Verdana is nice.
