That's awesome. Hopefully they were freed because locals turned in the people who were holding them. That would be a sign that Iraqis are starting to see the hope for a peaceful tomorrow under a new democratic government. The sooner they start to have faith in their government, the sooner things will improve, and the sooner that happens, the sooner our troops can come home.
On a related note, I read a story today about junior officers in Iraq who have been critical of military planning because they have failed to adopt any kind of light armor/surprise tactics to take the fight to the enemy. I can't find the link, though. >Now this is cool, good news from Iraq > >http://olympics.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=worldNews&storyID=7560882 > >-- >...they did not stop to think they died instead >then shall the voice of liberty be mute?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:146501 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
