This one cracked me up this morning:

---------------------
If anyone has an Ipod that they don't want, please give it to me.
I've wanted an Ipod ever since they were made but I cannot afford
one. I am a college student trying to get my degree, and I don't
have a job. My boyfriend would like to buy me one but he can't
afford it either. I would greatly appreciate one. I live in
Lancaster.
-------------------

Hah! an unwanted iPod :) These kind of requests raised some issues
with the moderator a few weeks ago. She posted a notice saying that
the requests shouldn't be extravagant (cars, laptops, etc.). She got
a deluge of posts saying that anyone should be able to ask for
anything. What gave me a chuckle was a bunch of people quoting
scripture to back up their idea that you should ask for anything.

I've resigned myself to the fact that most of these people are greedy
and I probably won't post anything to it, but I still keep suscribed
to view messages like the one above. I also have a new list
DFWOnlineGarageSale. Now that's a better idea I think. :)
