Okay, so here's a quick solution to the problem. Clones cannot reproduce. They must be castrated at birth. :) We do it to dogs, why not people?
By the way, these details wouldn't matter too much. Cloning is not a copy machine, they will take the same amount of time to grow to adulthood, and by that time, your wife would probably be out of the dating range of your clone.
