Of course many could have said the US lied when it claimed it was just conducting routine defence exercises in the region.
But that's different to the US actually admitting it was planning to start a Korean war in 2003 and that it lied to the International community when it had originally denied such. So are US allies now expected to believe it will not attack Iran? Or Sudan? Or Syria? Or China? Or Japan? How about Taiwan? Can they expect support from the US against China? Is Israel to believe that the US supports them against the Palestinian terrorist threat? What are other countries in the world expected to believe coming from the US? We could wake up tomorrow and find the Korean peninsula unilaterally invaded and who knows where's next. Is such uncertainty good for the world's economy? Is the threat of yet another war front good for the US economy already burdened with the war in Iraq and rising debt? -Gel > It wasn't a very well kept secret: > CNN.com - Stealth jets sent to South Korea - Mar. 11, 2003 > http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/asiapcf/east/03/11/nkorea.stealth/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:146902 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
