Yea, it wasn't so funny at the time! Got cuffed and stuffed for that one, spent the night in the local holding cell. That was my "wake up call" - I actually had been drinking (a little, okay a LOT), got a DUI, then got it pleaded down to reckless driving with a 90 day suspension, and a $2500 fine for destruction of city property. Lucky for me I was associated with the military at the time, and the chief himself "gave me a break". I haven't done any drinking and driving since then.
Sighhhhhhhh....why does it always take a huge debacle for some people to get it? That whole thing cost me more than $5000 after fixing my truck, paying fines, and lost wages. I also had a final that day, and come to find out, "I was in jail" was a good enough excuse for a makeup exam! LOL...
