I've heard that rumor. I have a friend who just moved to Seattle 2 years ago and he keeps trying to convince me that it doesn't really rain in Seattle. I don't believe him. I was there once about 4 years ago, in August, and it only rained once the whole five days we were there but I think that was the dry season. : )
