An alternative would be to get the MARC train to the end of Metro's Orange
Line, then take the Orange Line to Metro Center, then the red Line to the
nearest stop to the Hotel. Then either get a shuttle or a cab to the Hotel
itself. That way you miss 90% of the real ugly part of the traffic tieups.

The drive down 95 to the Beltway (495) then to Rockville Pike is more than a
bit ugly. Its considered to be the worst commute in the country right now.
It can easily take upwards of  2 or 3 hours depending on the time of day.
