Not sure about the ICQ number, but every Sprint phone has an email
address. It is <phonenumber>@messaging.sprintpcs.com.

If you can associate an email message with an ICQ contact, rather than
using the SMS, this should work for you.

I send email to my wife's phone all the time. This is handy because she
can't always answer her phone when she is working. (BTW, my ringer is
the cowboy hoe-down.)

I went so far as to add my Treo's phone number to our Exchange Global
Address Book. Sometimes my phone gets invited to meetings. ;)

As to your question, I would guess Network# relates to Sprint, Verizon,
etc. I don't know what Sprint's network number is. I don't have a clue
why the number is only 9-digits unless that expects a totally-separate
SMS number that has been "pointed" to a particular phone at the
provider. I remember people talking about having 4- or 5-digit SMS
numbers, but only for certain providers in certain countries.

My wife's phone has survied a lot, but I can't say we have ever washed
it. She did scratch the screen a couple of days after we bought them.
I chewed her out for it. ;)
