Well, first you are assuming there is going to be more money. Our budget
consistently goes up, even if there isn't any money to pay for it.

Based on most of the flat tax things I have seen, I will end up paying more
in taxes, not less.

I used to be for a flat tax, but the more I think it isn't a good idea.

Even if you pay fewer dollars in taxes because nobody has any deductions
thus more money comes in at lower percentage rates?  

Yes, that's a big if!  It would be very like our government to just increase
spending to use up the increase and then some, but it is a dream!
