minor quibble - health care in Canada is a provincial matter. So it's
Ontario negotiating on behalf of all of Ontario, Manitoba on behalf of
all of Manitoba, etc. That's also why (if anyone has wondered) Larry
and I have somewhat different pictures of how well the system works up
there. Our experiences ae with different provinces. And yes, in
Ontario, it is not at all unheard of for people to wait a very long
time for a given procedure.
