I remember back in the late 80s when there was big to-do over fast food containers being made out of styrofoam vs. paper. Eventually the fast foods places relented and replaced them with paper. (BTW, wasn't there a Mc-something-burger that you did the final assembly on and it came in a double sided styrofoam container? What the hell WAS that?) Anyway I read recently in Scientific American that the energy used to produce the sterile paper is about 100 times the amount used for styrofoam and the resulting greenhouse gases are about 10 times more per year than 100 years worth of styrofoam CFC decay. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:148305 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
