It likely depends on the context. In the context in which I usually
have conversations where the term "group marriage" is used, it's
usually used to describe a singular marriage of more than 2 people. In
groups of non-polyamorous people it's probably rarely used to describe
the same thing.

I've always heard that referred to as polygamy (multiple spouses --
technically I think it's "multiple gametes / sex organs" -- don't ask,
it's from the greek) or polygyny (multiple wives), and heard the term
bigamy used to indicate a lack of concent (usually deceit) in that
arangement. If I'm wrong, then we need a new word. :)
