The weather thing is definitely true. 90% of the time any random SUV will have worn out A/S tires which suck on all surfaces. But, since they're in an SUV, they haven't checked them in 2 years and think the SUV magic will kick on and protect them. The truth is the combination of poor driving, crap tires, and "SUV testosterone" creates accidently. I think saying it's not SUVs is fooling yourself.
