I know that was one of the arguments that stuck the most with me.

Whatever it takes to get elected. Apparently, many underestimated the size 
and strength of this contingency....Rove didn't. That's why he's the best :/

I actually think the problem is pretty simple.

Bush catered very successfully to the religious conservatives.  Kerry 
catered very successfully to the social moderates. Currently, in America, 
there seems to be a shift in power to the previous group. As such, Bush wins 
election.

Democrats are constantly talking about "they didn't get their message out". 
I don't think thats true. I just think currently, in America, the majority 
of voters agree with the relig conserv positions. And that's a much scarier 
thought.
