Last year I saw a multi-car pile up (that I was almost in!) due to a semi-truck that hadn't blown off his trailer's roof. He came onto the freeway at about 8am and as soon as he hit about 40MPH behind him turned into zero visibility; 2 cars collided and the ones behind rear ended them. The Semi kept driving on like nothing had happened. I called it into the State Patrol and then called the truck company. The dispatch manager informed me that they didn't make brushes long enough to clear the snow off to which I replied that all he'd need is a $100 air compressor, a long wooden dowel, and 5 - 10 minutes. He responded that it was too much hassle. Then there's the loaders, dump trucks, and cement trucks that have rocks flying out of their open beds.
