I love the way Okie State plays too. Joey Graham is a stud. They play tenacious defense and play man to man all game, every game.
Yer right on about KU. They'll go only as far as Simien can carry them. (Which is interesting, since a guy named Danny Manning carried the '88 Hawks team pretty far all by himself, and Simien is BETTER than DM ever was).
