I'm so VERY close to finishing this game but I just can't seem to get those last few gold medals! It's the burning laps which are killing me. All the races, all the road rages, all the crashes, all the eliminators and all the face offs: done! Gold medals! But I've still got four or five special events that I just can't seem to get gold in.
The circuit racers and the hot rod are just murder to drive with. I'm so, so close! I've been less than half a second from gold in three events dozens of times (although the hot rod preview lap I can still barely get bronze in). I've tried for over three hours to do something that, if done correctly, takes 55 seconds! This game is so good, like candy-coated sex, but at the very end (after something like 95% complete) it gets so insanely frustrating! Okay. Rant complete. Still - if you've not played, what are you wating for?! As an aside - any PS2 burners want to meet up online?
