I tried doing the batch file approach but ran into issues trying to copy 
from a local drive to the UNC path using cmd and didn't have time to 
look much deeper than the error message I was given.

Briefcase is a distant memory and the other twist to throw into the mix 
is the fact that while all the machines are Windows, they're not all one 
flavor.
