Well aside from making sure it's optimized properly - you could submit it to Google and wait ...
OR ... Start a blogger blog, make several posts about the site on the blogger blog. Take the resulting RSS feed, submit it to my.yahoo.com, feedster, and any other feed ping service. ALSO Create and RSS feed of the site itself, submit that to all the feed ping services ... And voila! I'll bethca the googlebot comes a knocking after a day or two. :) Tested, tried and true.
