Well.... 1) Too late! 2) They do that around here. See #1. 3) Too true. Although it beats having to pick up dog poops. When I see the neighbors doing that, especially in the rain and snow, I think that it is much better to have cats.
They do seem to like to go up. They aren't as fond of coming down. The wall around my kitchen does not go to the ceiling and Doran loved climbing up there when we first moved in. It got him a lot of attention! When he got sick he was too weak to get up there and I figured he had forgotten about it. About 2 weeks ago I heard a really loud thumpy, scrabbly noise and go into the living room. There is Doran in all his fat glory perched on the top of the wall. Then he started crying because he couldn't get down. Of course as soon as I got a chair to drag over there and fetch him, he jumped down with a loud crash and went strutting off.
