I knew there would be a catch. Oh well. Until there's a cure we'll just keep
doing it the old-fashioned way. It is certainly better than how he was when
he first got sick. They are so dependent on us.

True, but I figure a cat could get away with a smaller catheter.  The real
problem would be the tube.  I can see even a house cat finding a way to get
it caught on something within 5 minutes.  Hmm .. maybe someone could come up
with a small collar mounted model that could conceal the tube and protect
the catheter.  Any inventers out there?

BTW, Erin .. even though the system is "automated", you couldn't go away for
a day or 2.  You still have to adjust the dosage that the pump is delivering
around meal times to compensate for the rise in blood sugar.  The pump
doesn't know what you are eating or how much sugar is going to be in it, so
you have to tell it.  Of course, the last one I messed with was 3 years ago,
so they may have gotten smarter since then. :)
