I've got high hopes - I like most of the people involved (except Alba... who
seems to be nearly a staple in comic-book films lately).

I know that Bruce Willis is generally hit or miss but his hits have
generally been really good. Robert Rodriguez is almost always great
(hell... I even liked "Spy Kids").

BTW - if you hate QT (sorry... but I do) you can see the trailer in WMV (the
AOL version) here:

It does look quite good. ;^)

This year is really turning out to be a big one for us geeks. "Constantine"
didn't suck, "Sin City", "War of the Worlds", "Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Galaxy", "Batman Begins", "Firfly", "The Ring 2", The American release of
"Steamboy", "Fantasic Four", "Star Wars", "Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory", etc are all due out this year. I'm sure I'm missing many as well.

Not all of them are going to be good of course - but I'm surprised at how
good the majority of them look and just at the sheer number of "Genre" films
coming out this year.
