In college I took an Intro to Linguistics class.  The book pointed out 
that there's no formal use of infixing (like prefixing or suffixing, but 
in the middle of the word) in English.  The only time it was used was 
when using vulgarities.

Gotta love a textbook that uses "unfuckingbelievable" as an example.

It also used "beer good" as an example of basic language.
