I see. Try google and vivisimo. If there was some sort of newspaper
article it may have made the online edition. If the names are very
common (John Smith or the like) you may have to add locations and so
forth. If you get stuck let me know; I may be able to find out some
more from other people.

Also, don't forget to try http://www.familysearch.org/; some people
have been amazed by this site. It doesn't seem to know anything about
*my* family but it's apparently better for US residents.
