Are you saying we should create a government agency that regulates the news reports on the government? Don't they do that in N Korea :)
Free speech is working. You watch NPR and believe whatever and I'll watch fox and sift through it. Most complaining about Fox is the commentators anyway. Do you really not trust Britt Hume or Tony Snow? OK, Snow did work for Bush. Never mind :) You say you don't want another biased news channel but before Fox we had to put up with CNN. Now that we get news slanted our way you guys are upset. You should have been complaining when CNN was the only option.
