So far as I know WDDX has not been updated...I don't even know that there is any updated WDDX stuff out there. Javascript has been stagnent just as long. The last release of Javascript (1.5) is years old at this point, I wouldn't really expect anything new either. Java, compeltely different frin javascript, I have no idea about but since WDDX had not changed I would imagine the support would be the same now as in the past in Java.
